Improve access to medical care for people in Minnesota county jails and strengthen jails’ accountability for the people in their custody.

Post-Conviction Relief (HF 4045 | SF 3939)

Allow courts to provide an exception to the two-year post-conviction relief time limit when the interest of justice is served.

North STAR Act (HF 3459 | SF 3516)

Protect immigrants in Minnesota by prohibiting state and local law enforcement from using state resources for the purpose of civil immigration enforcement.

The BANE act

This policy would make it illegal for a non-profit organization to operate a community bail fund.
